TENERIFE
Tenerife is the largest of the seven islands known as The Canary Islands. the islands are Spanish and are located in the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of Africa. Tenerife is still one of the most desirable locations in the World to own a holiday or even permanent home. Tenerife has a climate which boasts an average daytime temperature of 25° all year round with long hours of sunshine, hence the name “The Island of Eternal Spring” or "The Fortunate Islands" as they were called in the past. This was due to the Canary Island's temperate climate and the Trade Winds. Whilst on the same latitude as Florida, USA, 28º, the Canary Islands do not suffer extreme climate changes such as tornados or hurricanes.

TOURISM
Tenerife attracts approximately 1.5 million British tourists every year, making it one of the most popular holiday destinations in the World. All this adds up to a good investment. Most visitors make the trip to Mount Teide, Tenerife's dormant volcano, where the landscape changes dramatically and is quite breathtaking. You can also take a trip up the volcano by cable car giving spectacular views. For shopping it's worth making a trip to Santa Cruz, the capital of Tenerife, which is a charming and friendly European style city with many historical buildings, or you can go to the sea front opera house for an evenings entertainment.

RETIREMENT
Tenerife has become a very popular retirement Island for many good reasons. Whilst nowhere is 100% crime free, Tenerife still offers safety and security which is the envy of most European locations. It is believed, and once stated by doctors, that living on Tenerife could increase your life-span by up to ten years.
Both National and Private Health Services are of very high standards, with English speaking staff.
